To make this site work properly, I sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. I use cookies for several purposes:
- To track what visitors do on my website so that I can make it better. For example, I look at what store links my readers use most so that I can make those easiest to find, or I look at what devices most people are using so I can make my website work well on those screen sizes.
- To measure how well my ads are doing. I run ads on Facebook to introduce new readers and listeners to my books, and I use cookies to help measure ad performance (such as how many people click on a link to a retailer) so that I can only advertise to readers who are truly interested in the kind of books I like.
How to Control Cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
